很喜歡一部漫畫　─　銃夢　─

裡面有個主要人物，在領便當的時候，畫面上配了這些詞句～

　　SORS SALUTIS　　　　　　至高無上的榮譽，

　　ET VIRTUTIS　　　　 　　波濤壯瀾的命運，

　　MIHI NUNC CONTRARIA　　 終究不是我能掌握的。

　　EST AFFECTUS　　　　　　我熱切地期盼，

　　ET DEFECTUS　　　　　　 所得到的是——

　　SEMPER IN ANGARIA　　　 失去所有的希望。

　　HAC IN HORA　　　　　　 不再猶豫，

　　SINE MORA　　　　　　　 撥動琴弦，

　　CORDIS PULSUM TANGITE　 唱出悲歌。

　　QUOD PER SORTEM　　　　 命運猛烈的一擊，

　　STERNIT FORTEM　　　　　連最有力量的人，

　　MECUM OMNES PLANGITE　　也被擊成碎片。

當時並不知出自何處，但翻譯的頗為壯闊悲愴，令人動容～

而今天才終於看到這些句子的由來～～～

　　　　《Carmina Burana/布蘭詩歌》中的開場大合唱《O Fortuna》（《世界的女皇》或譯成《噢，命運女神》）該曲取材自詩集卷首的《命運之輪》，在整部作品中首尾貫穿）

　　　　vana salus, well-being is vain 搗毀所有的幸福

　　　　semper dissolubilis, and always fades to nothing, 和美好的企盼，

　　　　obumbrata ,shadowed 陰影籠罩

　　　　et velata, and veiled 迷離莫辨

　　　　michi quoque niteris; you plague me too; 你也把我擊倒；

　　　　nunc per ludum, now through the game 災難降臨

　　　　dorsum nudum I, bring my bare back 我赤裸的背脊

　　　　fero tui sceleris. to your villainy. 被你無情地碾壓。

　　　　Sors salutis ,Fate is against me 命運摧殘著

　　　　et virtutis ,in health 我的健康

　　　　michi nunc contraria, and virtue, 與意志，

　　　　est affectus, driven on 無情地打擊

　　　　et defectus ,and weighted down, 殘暴地壓迫，

　　　　semper in angaria. always enslaved. 使我終生受到奴役。

　　　　Hac in hora ,So at this hour 在此刻

　　　　sine mora ,without delay 切莫有一絲遲疑；

　　　　corde pulsum tangite; pluck the vibrating strings; 為那最無畏的勇士

　　　　quod per sortem since Fate 也已被命運擊垮，

　　　　sternit fortem, strikes down the string man, 讓琴弦撥響，

　　　　mecum omnes plangite! everyone weep with me! 一同與我悲歌泣號！
